Area Manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Environment Agency

Dave started his career as a Town Planner in south Wales before moving back to his native Worcestershire to take up an Environmental Programme role with Severn Trent Water. Dave joined the Environment Agency in 2000 and has held various positions at a local, regional and national level. In his Incident Commander role, he is a veteran of many environmental incidents and floods and is often seen on TV as an Agency spokesperson. He is also an enthusiastic and regular user of social media and can be seen at @davethroupea.
