Andy Gowanlock

Andy entered the public sector as a category manager for Steel Structures at National Highways, supporting procurement and delivery of steel structures, and latterly transitioned to develop and implement Category Management for National Highways Operational Technology.

He has launched the tender for next CCS Transport agreement under the new Procurement Act, and is focused on improving the value the citizen gets through public sector application of procurement and category management.

Prior to the public sector, Andy worked in supply chain management, procurement, and sales for engineering and aerospace. Andy’s goal is to reduce friction in the procurement of sustainable transport solutions so we can all benefit, which the new regulations can support.
