Rachel Gittens
Rachel Gittens is the Deputy Director for Strategic Road Network at ORR. She overseas all the of ORR’s day to day responsibility for holding National Highways to account in the delivery of its licence and Road Investment Strategy.
Rachel is a chartered civil engineering with over 20 years' experience in the private and public sector.
She has strong technical background in design and delivery of large complex infrastructure projects. Since 2012 she used her practical experience to provide advice across highways and rail infrastructure owners on a variety of cross business programmes, predominately focusing on regulation and business transformation.
Prior to joining ORR Rachel was Head of Future Road Investment Strategy at National Highways.
