Gergely Raccuja

Gergely is philosopher and data product owner. In this role he identifies, designs, and launches new data products to operate and maintain England’s motorways. He most recently launched Compass, National Highways’ organisational digital twin, to transform how we connect and find shared meaning at work. He brings a passion for challenging the status quo which he is applying to identify the next generation of talent to transform National Highways into a data driven organisation.

He is a digital and data professional who launched more than a dozen products to improve business performance in Transport. He is the winner of the 2017 Wolfson Economics Prize for his radical yet simple idea to reform motoring taxation. Holds a BA (Hons) of European Social and Political Studies from University College London and professional qualifications from Microsoft, Scrum.org and the Institute of Asset Management. Loves discussing empiricism, education, and personal growth or sitting down for a game of chess, bridge or Terraforming Mars.
