Parul Gulati

I am currently a Year 12 student studying Maths, Physics, and Geography. I chose Maths and Physics because I enjoy problem-solving and understanding how the world and the universe function. Geography supports my interest in how cities operate and connects directly to my ambition to pursue civil engineering. I hope to undertake a degree apprenticeship in civil or aerospace engineering, as I value learning through both academic study and practical experience.

Participating in the National Highways career challenge allowed me to explore transportation systems and infrastructure more deeply. It strengthened my data-handling skills, especially in Excel, and gave me insight into how engineers use analysis during project planning and management. This experience sparked a deeper curiosity about how large infrastructure projects are designed and executed. Outside of academics, I enjoy photography - a hobby that allows me to express creativity, experiment with perspectives, and balance my technical interests with artistic exploration.
