Ross Moorlock
Ross became permanent CEO of Brake in January 2024 after serving as interim CEO for nine months. Since joining the charity in 2017, Ross has held senior roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Business Development Director, leveraging his experience from a successful career in national accountancy.
As CEO, Ross has led a period of significant expansion, growing Brake’s team from 37 staff in 2023 to more than 70 in 2025. Much of this growth has focused on Brake’s National Road Victim Service, which supports over 2,000 families each year who have been bereaved or seriously injured in road crashes.
Brake’s broader work includes campaigning to stop crashes on our roads and reduce harm when a crash happens, and education programmes to improve knowledge, develop skills and shift attitudes.
Outside of work, Ross is an avid cyclist and runner.
